Jason is a geologist with more than 20 years of resource sector experience in senior technical, management and consulting roles across multiple commodities and jurisdictions.

Prior to joining CRU, Jason ran his own consultancy where he advised clients on mineral and energy project development, feasibility assessments, emissions abatement, resource exploration and strategic opportunities. Before that, he worked for ASX-listed companies as Chief Operations Officer for Commissioners Gold Ltd and Exploration Operations Manager for Dart Energy Ltd, in addition to several other resource companies, consultancies and government agencies.

Jason has worked on mining and energy projects in Australia, South America and Southeast Asia. His experience covers a range of mineral commodities (precious-base-strategic metals, rare earths, diamonds and construction materials), and energy resources (gas, coal and geothermal), as well as mining-related emissions reduction and energy generation (thermal, renewable, green hydrogen and storage).
