Minerals for a Modern, Sustainable Lifestyle
An Australian state government commissioned CRU to provide a comprehensive analysis of mine to market value chains, and to identify and assess relevant minerals-based processing opportunities.
We assessed the attractiveness of a number of minerals based on demand growth, pricing and the state's ability and competitive advantage to extract and process minerals in a manner that leads to a profitable investment and benefits the local economy.
CRU identified the four most prospective downstream opportunities and assessed the cost competitiveness for each of them. Alongside the findings for the identified minerals and the current cost position, CRU has also provided suggestions on potential cost improvements in the future.
